My cousin suggested that I do some more paintings with green in them. It's a great idea. I love the color green... big fan of blue too. I've become complacent with the warmer palette I've been using lately. Time to mix it up a bit.
As I look at the photograph of this piece now, I feel as though I've overworked it a bit. (sigh) Sh*t!

Overworked? I clicked on the image and saw the painting larger and cannot understand why you think it is overworked. It is OK to overpaint highly textured paint with a thin coat of paint in new directions?
