Honestly, this piece began as an abstract, but became more literal... I tipped in on it's side and saw the "storm", and so worked it with that in mind. It didn't take me long. I was working two or three of these jewels simultaneously, which is how I work the larger pieces as well. While one piece is drying, I pick up another work that one for a while, and keep rotating them out.

Very nice work again. Your use of additives to the paint to gain more texture is really inspiring.

Nice pieces,,,,I especially like the translucent appearing blue and green areas in the third one down. And, as always,,,great textures popping about in all.
